Last night the Dream took a visit to the nation’s capital to take on the 5-7 Washington Mystics. The Dream gave the Mystics their first win on their home court this season losing 65-95, the second blowout loss for the Dream this season. One fan even stated that “The game was just too painful to watch.” Atlanta got off to a really sloppy start & could not find their groove to get back into the game. Not to mention the Dream had 21 turnovers which allowed the Mystics to get 26 points off Atlanta’s turnovers. Atlanta shot 41.1% from the field while Washington shot 52.2% last night. Head coach Michael Cooper was even ejected from the game into the third quarter while Atlanta was down 38-56. It was not a good night for the Dream, they didn’t have the same energy & determination like they did 2 nights ago against the Chicago Sky. Washington now has 2 wins up on Atlanta, their first meeting was 2 Sunday’s ago, June 5th at Philips Arena when the Dream fell short 86-79. Atlanta now 8-4 will face the visiting 7-4 New York Liberty on Wednesday, June 22nd at 12:00 pm EST right here at Philips Arena.
