Hawks Look to Tie Up Series in Cleveland

After a brutal loss to the Cavs on Monday night to begin the conference semi finals, the Hawks look to create a series tie.

Wedneday night the Hawks will tip off at 8pm for the second time against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

With a 104-93 loss and the Cavs dominating throughout on Monday night, the Hawks must regroup and stay focused tonight to have a chance to not be swept.

Cleveland came out on fire and that continued as Lebron scored 25 points, had 9 assists and got 7 rebounds. Irving was right there with him with 21 points and 8 assists. It looked as though the Cavs were going to take this one away, but the Hawks began to show some energy and gained a little bit of a lead during the fourth quarter. That energy was not enough as the Cavs came back around to dominate the Hawks. Dennis Schroder was Atlanta’s player of the night with a playoff career high of 27 points.
Atlanta showed that they have what it takes to stick with Clevland, and hopefully that can continue throughout the series to avoid a sweep.

Keys to tonight’s game in Cleveland:

1) Stop Kyrie Irving down the stretch

2) Energy and consistency from Kyle Korver on the arc

3) A balence of guarding both James and Thompson equally to eliminate the other getting a run to the basket
