After a tough loss in Game 4 Sunday night, the Atlanta Hawks look to bounce back at Philips Arena Tuesday night in Game 5.
Despite Paul Millsap’s 45 point night in Boston, the Hawks lost in OT 104-95. To be able to overcome two straight playoff loses, the Hawks must gather themselves and be prepared for a hot Celtics team. As Boston looks for their third playoff win under the Brad Stevens era, Atlanta will use the home court advantage and try to take a 3-2 series lead, putting Boston under the pressure of elimination. If all goes well Tuesday night, the Hawks offense won’t have to carry the team, and the defense will improve from their performance in Game 4.
During both games in Boston (Games 3, 4), tempers of both teams were flaring. The Celtic faithful made it known that they did not appreciate Atlanta’s aggresive playing style, as they ridiculed Dennis Schröder everytime he stepped onto the court. The True Believers in Philips Arena Tuesday night will be sure to repay the favor after seeing how their Hawks were treated in TD Garden.
Game 5 will air Tuesday (4/26) @ 8:30 PM on TNT, FSSE, CNSE – Philips Arena, Atlanta, GA
