The Atlanta Hawks have a opportunity tonight to control the series if they win tonight against the Celtics with a 3-1 lead heading back to Atlanta. If they lose it will be all tied up against a most likely hungry Boston Celtics team in Atlanta. This will not be good and shifting momentum from the Hawks.
The one thing that helped the Celtics in game 3 was a change in thier lineup. Head coach Brad Stevens took out guard Marcus Smart and forward Jared Sullinger then to replace them was Evan Turner and also Jerebko. Coming in a chippy and flagrant foul full game the two players combined for 28 points. Evan Turner getting 17 points, 7 assists and 5 steals and Jerebko scoring 11 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. It also it didn’t help the Hawks when a 5 foot 9 inch guard named Isaiah Thomas scored a career high of 42 points.
The Hawks need big defensive plays tonight and to hold thier leads when they have them. A interesting fact for the Hawks is when forward Paul Millsap’s on the floor the Celtics shoot just 34.3 percent from the floor while when Millsap’s on the bench they shoot 48.5 percent. Thier is no word on whether head coach Mike Budenholzer will make any changes in his lineup tonight in Boston. The Hawks have a opportunity tonight and they need to take advantage of it.
