After a nail-biting fourth quarter on Saturday night, the Atlanta Hawks look for another win over the Boston Celtics in Game 2 Tuesday night. Avery Bradley of the Celtics suffered a severe hamstring injury during Saturday night’s game and will most likely miss the rest of the series versus Atlanta. Bradley is one Boston’s top scorer under Isaiah Thomas, and the Hawks can greatly benefit with him on the bench.
How will the Hawks take the home series sweep on Tuesday night?
In Game 1, three Hawks starters scored over 20 points. The defensive play by Atlanta was great throughout the game, and in the first half, Boston was held to 12/52 field goals (23%). The Hawks led by as many as 19 points. Now, with Bradley out of the game, the Hawks can focus more on stopping Isaiah Thomas, who scored 27 points on Saturday night. Atlanta’s defense needs to hold Boston to another off shooting night and the offense just needs to keep doing what they do best. With Teague, Bazemore, and Horford all in fine shooting form, the Hawks look forward to taking a 2-0 lead against the Celtics before heading to TD Garden.
Game 2 will air Tuesday (4/19) on TNT, CSNE, FSSE @ 7 P.M. – Philips Arena, Atlanta, GA
