Hawks Advance to ECF

For the first time in franchise history, your Atlanta Hawks have advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals! In a bizarre Game 6, the Hawks were able to take down the Wizards with a final score of 94-91.
The Hawks lost the rebounding battle and had more turnovers, but were still able to pull out the win. Demarre Carroll led the way for the Hawks with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Jeff Teague and Paul Millsap added 20 points each. Paul Pierce hit what many thought was the game tying three-pointer at the buzzer, however the shot was reviewed and waved off because the ball was still on Pierce’s fingertips when the clock expired.
The Hawks will play the Cavaliers and have home court advantage. During the regular season, the Hawks won 3 out of 4 games against the Cavaliers.
