Bruce Irvin to the Falcons?

Atlanta native and current Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin hits free agency after this season since the Seahawks declined his fifth year team option.
In an interview after the Atlanta Hawks game last night, Irvin stated he “is going to be in Atlanta next season” according to Sports Illustrated. With the hiring of former Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, Irvin may get what he wants. Irvin played under Dan Quinn in Seattle. When Irvin was asked if he would consider resigning with Seattle next year, he replied “Atlanta is where I want to be.”
Irvin would be a great addition to a Falcons defense who has struggled in recent years. Last season, the Falcons ranked 32nd in yards allowed, 32nd in passing yards allowed, 21st in rushing yards allowed, and 27th in points allowed. Irvin has the potential to be a playmaker on defense. During his three seasons, Irvin has recorded 93 combined tackles, 16.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 3 interceptions. Acquiring Irvin next season would be a huge upgrade for the Falcons. Let’s see what happens as the Falcons rise up!
