Braves Lose in Late Innings to Reds

Screenshot_2015-05-12-22-15-12~2The Braves drop tonight’s game against the Reds. Mike Foltynewicz fans seven in 6.2 innings while allowing three runs in his no decision. Jace Peterson is the shining star for the Braves tonight as he hit 2-3, drew a walk, and scored a run. Braves’ closer Jason Grilli gets marked with the loss while Reds’ closer Aroldis Chapman picks up the win.

Reds’ Todd Frazier was the only player to hit a homerun this game as he hit a 2-run shot to left field. The game ended in the bottom of the ninth when Devin Mesoraco hit a double to left field to drive in pinch runner Michael Lorenzen from first base.
